    There are 88075 km² of cultivated land in Vietnam, and it comprises 27% of the country's total territory. In Vietnam, permanent crops occupy 22547 km² of the land. This comprises 7% of the country's total territory. There are 65528 km² of arable land in Vietnam. and it comprises 20% of the country's total territory. 54% of the population are working in agriculture. There are around 162746 tractors in use in the country.

    Crops
    The country's major agricultural crops and products are paddy rice, coffee, rubber, cotton, tea, pepper, soybeans, cashews, sugar cane, peanuts, bananas, poultry, fish, seafood.
